Eugene Chen
Eugene Chen is the Managing Member of Alexet Capital. He brings 20+ years of experience in private and public markets with expertise in complex operational and financial situations. He specializes in the Technology, Healthcare, Tech-Enabled Services, Business Services, and Impact sectors.
​​​​​
Prior to Alexet, he was a Principal at multi-billion asset management firms, including The Carlyle Group, where he led special situation and activism investments. In addition, he led investments in Goldman Sachs' Principal Investment Area (PIA) focusing on development stage through mature private-equity investments. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he led operational restructuring projects for The Boston Consulting Group.

Eugene holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
